Biography
Jonathan graduated from Morehead State University with a B.B.A. in 1992 cum laude; an M.B.A. in 1994 and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Louisville, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 1999.
Prior to entering law school Jonathan was a faculty member at Morehead State University and Vice President of Operations for a regional medical equipment company.
Admitted to the bar in 1999, Jonathan has been involved in the firm’s active trial and appellate practice in state and federal courts practicing throughout the eastern half of the state with a focus primarily involving the defense of employment and civil rights claims on behalf of boards of education and other local governmental entities.
Jonathan is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Kentucky as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Cincinnati, Ohio; United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Richmond, Virginia; United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia at Washington, D.C.; and the United States Supreme Court.
